CONSTRUCTION
A high flow port that reduces internal pressure loss is used.
The exhaust manifold and cylinder head are integrated and exhaust gas is cooled using the water jacket inside the cylinder head. This reduces the temperature of exhaust gas in order to improve fuel economy and reduce the amount of uncombusted material in the exhaust gas by expanding the range in which the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio can be maintained while driving.
Parts of the water jacket inside the cylinder head has a 2-step structure, allowing for an expanded exhaust port.
The cam journal portion of the cylinder head has a structure split into 2 separate parts, giving the cylinder head itself a simpler structure.
A siamese type intake port is used. The port diameter gradually decreases toward the combustion chamber to optimize the airflow speed and intake pulsation.
Parts of the water jacket inside the cylinder head has a 2-step structure, allowing for an expanded exhaust port.
