  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A vacuum pump assembly is used since a vacuum cannot be ensured in the intake system due to the use of a turbocharger. As a result, vacuum for brake booster use and the vacuum necessary to operate the wastegate valve of the turbocharger sub-assembly are ensured.

    2. The vacuum pump assembly is installed on the rear end face of the engine and driven by the exhaust camshaft (No. 2 camshaft).
