    1. 2GR-FSE Engine


      1. The 2GR-FSE is a 3.5-liter, 24-valve DOHC V6 Direct injection 4-stroke gasoline engine Superior version (D-4S). This engine uses the Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS) and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). These control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy and clean emissions.

      2. The D-4S system combines a D-4 system with a port injection system that injects fuel to the intake ports. This system provides a homogeneous air-fuel mixture by combining direct injection and port injection systems to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.

    2. 4GR-FSE Engine


      1. The 4GR-FSE is a 2.5-liter, 24-valve DOHC V6 Direct injection 4-stroke gasoline engine (D-4). This engine uses a direct injection system. In addition, this engine use a Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (Dual VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS), Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i), Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS), and Electronic Swirl Control Valves (SCV). These control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy, and clean emissions.

      2. The injector of the D-4 system is installed on the combustion chamber. This injector injects the fuel pressurized in the fuel pump (high pressure) directly into the combustion chamber. Through this, a vaporized latent heat effect is obtained, volumetric efficiency and resistance to knocking are improved, resulting in a power output improvement.

    5. Steering


      1. The Electric Power Steering (EPS) system uses a motor and a reduction mechanism that are built into the steering gear housing to generate assist torque, in order to assist the driver's steering effort.

      2. A Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) system is used. This system controls the turning angle of the front wheels in accordance with the vehicle speed. As a result, excellent ease of steering operation and vehicle stability have been achieved, from the low-speed to the high-speed range.
