        Tech Tips

The rear fog light is installed to the driver side of the vehicle.

    2. Daytime Running Light System

      1. The daytime running light system is designed to automatically illuminate the Light Emitting Diode (LED) daytime running lights during the daytime to keep the vehicle highly visible to other vehicles.

    3. Light Emitting Diode (LED) Headlight System

      1. An LED headlight system, capable of instant illumination and of ensuring a long service life, is used for the low beam headlights.

    4. Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System (Models with LED Headlights)

      1. When the headlights are on, the automatic headlight beam level control system operates the headlight leveling motors in accordance with movement of the vehicle.

    5. Manual Headlight Beam Level Control System

      1. When the vehicle posture changes in accordance with the number (weight) of passengers and volume of luggage, this system makes it possible to adjust the low beam level (5-steps) manually to the appropriate level. The low beam level is adjusted using the headlight leveling switch.

    6. Automatic Light Control System

      1. When the dimmer switch is in the AUTO position, the light control sensor detects the ambient light level and automatically turns the headlights, taillights, position lights and license plate lights on or off accordingly.

      2. This system is controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

    7. Light Auto Turn-off System

      1. The light auto turn-off system is used to prevent the driver from leaving the vehicle with the headlights, front fog lights, position lights, taillights, rear fog light or license plate lights on.

    8. Emergency Brake Signal

      1. The stop lights flash automatically in the case of emergency braking to alert following drivers, thus helping to reduce rear-end accidents.

    9. Automatic High Beam System (Models with Automatic High Beam System)

      1. The automatic high beam system detects lights in front of the vehicle and automatically changes between high beams and low beams to support the driver during night driving.

    10. Door Mirror Foot Light System

      1. The door mirror foot light system operates the foot lights to ensure visibility when approaching or leaving the vehicle at night.

    11. Follow Me Home System (Models for Europe)

      1. The follow me home system turns on the headlights (low beams and position lights), taillights and license plate lights when the vehicle is parked in order to ensure visibility at night.

    12. Welcome Light Illumination System

      1. The welcome light illumination system operates the position lights, taillights and license plate lights in conjunction with the locking and unlocking of the doors, ensuring nighttime usability.

    13. Lane Change Flasher System

      1. The lane change flasher system flashes the turn signal light a certain number of times when the turn signal switch (headlight dimmer switch assembly) is moved to the lane change position. By using the lane change flasher system when changing lanes, it is no longer necessary to hold the turn signal switch in the lane change position.

  3. MAIN FEATURES

    1. Light Emitting Diode (LED) Light

      1. Compared to halogen light, even if an LED light is used for a long time, the reduction of brightness over its lifetime is less. In addition, there is no possibility of an LED having an open circuit because of vibration. Together, these attributes realize maintenance-free lighting.
