    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When the key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Front Interior Lights

      • Rear Interior Light

      • Door Mirror Foot Lights
      Door Control Transmitter-linked When any door is unlocked using the door control transmitter, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Front Interior Lights

      • Rear Interior Light

      • Footwell Lights (Interior)
      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Front Interior Lights

      Door Close-linked When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off. Footwell Lights (Interior)
      Door Lock-linked When all doors are closed and locked, the lights that operate turn off.

      Door Unlock-linked When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.

      Power Switch-linked When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.

      • Footwell Lights (Interior)*1

      • Door Mirror Foot Lights*2
      When the power switch is turned from on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Footwell Lights (Interior)
      Driving Mode Select-linked When the driving mode select is turned from any position except SPORT to SPORT, the light that operates turns on. Center Console Spot Light (Red)
      Delay

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An actuation area-linked function is operated.

      • The door unlock-linked function is operated.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the power switch is off.

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Front Interior Lights

      • Rear Interior Light

      • Footwell Lights (Interior)
      Battery Saving

      When 20 minutes elapse after the power switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      Tech Tips

      The battery saving function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


      • The power switch is turned on (ACC) or on (IG) to off.

      • Any door is opened and closed.

      • The back door is opened and closed.

      • Any door is unlocked.

      • The key enters any exterior actuation area.

      *1: When the shift state is any state except P, the lights that operate fade out.

      *2: When the shift state is any state except P, the lights that operate turn off.
