AIRBAG SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The driver dual-stage Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbag and front passenger dual-stage SRS twin-chamber airbag supplement the seat belts to help reduce shock to the head and chest of the driver and front passenger in the event of a frontal collision.

    2. The SRS knee airbags are used as supplements to the seat belt to help restrain the occupant's lower body (mainly knees), enhancing the effectiveness of occupant protection.

    3. The SRS side airbags are used in the event of a side impact collision to help reduce shock to the chest of the driver or front passenger.

    4. The SRS curtain shield airbags are used in the event of a side or rear side collision to help to reduce shock to the head of the driver, front passenger and rear passengers.

    1. The new models have been modified from the previous models as shown below:


      1. A combination meter assembly with a color type multi-information display has been added.

      2. The design of horn button assembly (driver airbag) has been changed.
