The G-BOOK system is a telematics service that links the vehicle and G-BOOK network (provides information from the G-BOOK center or content providers).

To use the G-BOOK system, it is necessary to connect the telematics transceiver (Data Communication Module) (for telematics transceiver connection type) or a Bluetooth-compatible cellular phone (for cellular phone connection type) to the radio receiver assembly.

Pre-crash Safety System

The pre-crash safety system retracts the front seat belts and activates the brake assist standby condition of the brake control system and performs pre-crash brake control* before a collision in an attempt to lessen impact to the driver and front passenger.

Aero Stabilizing fin
-
Aero stabilizing fins are provided on the front passenger door, driver door and on each rear combination light lens for enhanced aerodynamics.

After passing the aero stabilizing fin, the air speed will increase and a vortex will be generated.

This vortex increases the speed of the surrounding air while at the same time pulling the airflow towards the vehicle body.
-
The airflow with higher speed passes near both sides of the vehicle body and ends at the rear of the vehicle. This helps to hold the vehicle body, thus stabilizing the vehicle.

Vehicle Proximity Notification System (Destination Package for Taiwan)

The vehicle proximity notification system informs people near the vehicle of approach of the vehicle by using the vehicle approaching speaker assembly to produce a warning sound when both of the following conditions are met:

The vehicle is being driven only using the motor.

The vehicle is being driven at less than 25 km/h (15 mph).

In accordance with the increase or decrease of speed, the pitch of the warning sound will change. The sound volume is controlled to an appropriate level.
