COOLING SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. Quick connectors are used in order to improve serviceability. The hoses can now be connected and disconnected without using any tools.

    2. A water-cooled type oil cooler is used to lower the oil temperature.

    3. A water-cooled type EGR valve assembly and water-cooled type EGR cooler are used to lower the EGR gas temperature.

      1. Toyota recommends the use of approved "Toyota Premium Long Life Coolant for 1WW/2WW engines" or equivalent.

    2. Thermostat

      Thermostat Opening Temperature Approx. 88°C (190°F)
