  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The luggage compartment door opener system consists of the following parts:

      Component Function
      Luggage Compartment Door Lock Assembly Operates a door lock motor that unlatches the door electro-mechanically.
      Luggage Compartment Door Opener Switch Assembly Unlocks the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
      Luggage Compartment Door Courtesy Light Switch Assembly Detects whether the luggage compartment door is opened or closed and transmits signals to the main body ECU.
      Emergency Luggage Compartment Door Opener Allows the user to manually unlatch the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

      1. The luggage compartment door lock assembly is mounted on the luggage compartment door and consists mainly of a link mechanism and opener motor.

      2. An emergency opener has been provided in case the system does not operate due to a discharged battery or other malfunction.

    1. Unlatch Operation


      1. Upon receiving an operation signal from the back door opener switch assembly, the luggage compartment door lock assembly rotates the sector gear by operating the door lock motor.
