Oil Pump
Except on the models compliant with EURO 5+ emission regulations, a conventional cycloidal gear type oil pump is used.
On the models compliant with EURO 5+ emission regulations, an electric variable oil pressure type oil pump, which can control the pressure of the engine oil in 2 stages in accordance with driving conditions, is used. As a result, energy loss caused by oil pump operation has been reduced to achieve improved fuel efficiency. The electric variable oil pressure type oil pump consists of a cycloidal gear type oil pump, relief valve with built-in sleeve valve, oil pressure switching valve and check valve. Sub-assembly Oil Nozzle No. 1
Sub-assembly oil nozzle No. 1 for cooling and lubricating the piston has been provided in the cylinder block.
Sub-assembly oil nozzle No. 1 contains a check ball to prevent oil from being fed when the oil pressure is low. This prevents the overall oil pressure in the engine from dropping.
