WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DETAILS


  1. FUNCTION


    1. The wireless door lock control system has the following functions:

      Function Outline
      All Doors Lock Pressing the lock switch of the door control transmitter locks the doors.
      All Doors Unlock (2-step Unlock) Pressing the unlock switch of the door control transmitter twice within 3 seconds unlocks all doors after it first unlocks the driver door.
      All Doors Unlock (1-step Unlock) Pressing the unlock switch of the door control transmitter once unlocks all doors.
      Power Back Door Open/Close* Keeping the power back door open switch of the door control transmitter pushed longer than about 0.8 seconds opens or closes the back door.
      Answer Back When the doors are being locked or unlocked through the operation of the door control transmitter, the hazard warning lights blink. The lights blink once during locking and twice during unlocking. Also, the answer back function operates when the doors are locked by the automatic relock function.
      Answer Back (Power Back Door)* When the door control transmitter is used for opening or closing the power back door is operated, this function sounds the wireless door lock buzzer and power back door buzzer once to inform the user that the operation has been started.
      Automatic Relock If none of the doors are opened within 30 seconds after they are unlocked using the wireless door lock remote control, all the doors will be locked again automatically.
      Repeat If a door is not locked in response to the locking operation of the door control transmitter, the main body ECU (driver side junction block assembly) will output a lock signal again after 1 second passes.
      Security The transmitter sends door lock/unlock operation request signals as a rolling code.

  2. DIAGNOSIS


    1. If there is a malfunction in the system, the main body ECU (driver side junction block assembly) stores Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in its memory. For details, refer to the Repair Manual.
