LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each body electrical system shown below, and is also used for communication between switches.

    2. The ECUs or switches between various CAN and LIN networks serve as gateways for signals transmitted to or from LIN-networks.

    3. LIN communication is used for the following systems.


      • Smart entry and start system

      • Air conditioning system

      • Power window system and sliding roof system

      • Automatic high beam system
