CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM GENERAL

  1. OUTLINE

    1. The cruise control system is designed to help reduce driver fatigue by helping to control the vehicle to a speed chosen by the driver. Once the cruise control system is set to the desired vehicle speed, the ECM automatically regulates the motive force to maintain the set vehicle speed without any accelerator pedal operation.

    2. A cruise control indicator light and cruise control SET indicator light are provided.

The cruise control indicator light comes on when the cruise control switch is turned on.

The cruise control SET indicator light comes on when the vehicle is being driven at any set speed using the cruise control system.
