  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The main components of the luggage compartment door closer system have the following functions:

      Component Function
      Rear J/B ECU (Luggage Room Junction Block Assembly) The luggage room junction block assembly outputs clockwise or counterclockwise drive power to the luggage door closer motor.

      Luggage Door Closer Assembly

      - Luggage Door Closer Motor

      		 In accordance with the signals received from the switches, the luggage door closer assembly automatically closes the luggage compartment door to the fully closed state when it is ajar.

  2. OPERATION


    1. When the position of the luggage compartment door is changed from open to ajar, the half switch is turned from on to off. As a result, the luggage room junction block assembly drives the motor built into the luggage door closer assembly, thus closing the luggage compartment door.

  3. CONSTRUCTION


    1. Luggage Door Closer Assembly


      1. The luggage door closer assembly is mounted on the luggage compartment door and mainly consists of a link mechanism and a luggage door closer motor. The assembly provides 2 functions: the closer function to automatically close the luggage compartment door and the opener function to disengage the striker from the latch.

      2. The luggage door closer assembly contains a luggage door courtesy switch, half switch, pawl switch, trunk lid open switch and position detection switch in the luggage door closer motor.
