  1. OPERATION


    1. Front Wiper Deicer System


      1. The front wiper deicer system is activated when the engine switch is on (IG) and the front wiper deicer switch is pushed. The air conditioning amplifier assembly keeps the front wiper deicer system on for approximately 15 minutes.

      2. The electric power control ECU sends the load control request signal to the air conditioning amplifier assembly depending on the condition of the battery. Upon receiving the signal, the air conditioning amplifier assembly temporarily limits the power consumption of the system.

    2. Window Defogger System


      1. When the engine switch is turned on (IG) and the rear defogger and mirror heater switch is pushed, this system is activated to keep the defogger heater and mirror heaters on for approximately 15 minutes.

      2. The electric power control ECU sends the load control request signal to the air conditioning amplifier assembly depending on the condition of the battery. Upon receiving the signal, the air conditioning amplifier assembly temporarily limits the power consumption of the system.
