LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. Signals transmitted via the LIN can be sent to the CAN through the main body ECU (driver side junction block) with a gateway function that is also connected to the CAN.

    3. The LIN is used for the entry and start system, sliding roof system, air conditioning system, lighting system, power seat control system and wiper and washer system.
