Instrument Panel

1. The instrument panel has undergone an image reformation from the conventional T-shaped instrument panel. Also, great attention to detail has been paid in the refined connecting of components, operability of equipment, feel and so on, thus producing a high-quality interior space.

2. Decorations have been given to components such as the upper portion of the instrument panel, ornaments, steering wheel, shift knob, floor console and door trim. Also, materials with varying properties and feels have been combined, embodying a premium-feel LEXUS originality with a polished, high-grade harmony.

   

3. Advanced Illumination System

   
   

   • 3 LEDs are placed in the lower portion of the driver seat ornament and 11 LEDs are used in the lower portion of the front passenger seat ornament. This system which varies in conjunction with the meter, navigation display and other interior illuminations is used.

4. A 12.3-inch multi-display and remote touch (remote operation switch) are used, the display area and operation area have been separated, and optimum placement which allows for pleasant driving operation requiring minimum eye movement or posture adjustment has been achieved.

5. A genuine leather covering is used in several places on the instrument panel for G.C.C. countries. Genuine leather panels give a soft and sophisticated feel encompassing the entire cabin, thus producing a premium feel appropriate for the vehicle class.

6. Decoration ornaments are used in several places on the instrument panel. By combining the large-size ornament which extends from the center of the instrument panel to the door trim with aluminum, a high-class appearance is given, and a feeling of width is achieved through the horizontal base. Also, as the ornaments are not mounted on the instrument panel, the panel appears thicker and rounder, thus expressing a deep and wide feel.

Steering Wheel

1. A 3-spoke steering wheel is used.

2. The shape is adjusted by grip position to improve the hand fit feel.

3. A 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel exclusive to F SPORT is provided.

4. The design of the steering switch has been changed and the locations of the switches have been optimized, thus achieving excellent operability.

Remote Touch

1. The remote touch (remote operation switch) is provided.

   Switch Knob

2. Ambient light is used in the switch knob base of the remote touch to further decorate the remote touch and to unobtrusively show the location of the switch knob, thus enhancing usability.

3. The color of the light in the switch knob base harmonizes with the lights in the clock and center cluster console, thus providing elegant interior lighting appropriate for LEXUS.

Analog Clock with GPS Function

1. An analog clock with GPS function, which is new to LEXUS vehicles, is symbolically located in the center of the instrument panel.

2. Aluminum is used on the dial plate of the analog clock, thus achieving a high-class and sophisticated design through high-precision planing.

3. The index and dial plate emit light by themselves and have been made as thin as possible, producing a feeling of sophistication.

   

Shift Lever

1. Aluminum is used for the shift lever to give an image that it is completely made of metal and to achieve an asymmetric shape which takes grip comfort into consideration. Also, genuine leather is used for the parts of the lever which are gripped by the fingers when operating to give an encompassing design.

Floor Console

1. 2 cup holders which can accommodate large-size cups are installed in the front part of the floor console.

2. Either an accessory socket (DC 12 V) or cigarette lighter is provided between the cup holders. They are easily reachable from the driver seat and front passenger seat.

3. Genuine leather is used on the top of the floor console rear end, thus making it consistent with the armrest in feel and texture.

Scuff Plate

1. Scuff plates of an exclusive color are provided on F SPORT.

   

Footrest

1. Aluminum, which is used for the accelerator pedal, is now also used for the foot rest on F SPORT, thus giving a feeling of consistency.

2. Rubber dots with inlaid grooves are provided on the foot rest to prevent slipping on F SPORT.

Assist Grip

• Dimpled leather, which is also used on the steering wheel, is used on the assist grip for consistency and usability on F SPORT.
