OUTLINE
The theft deterrent system is controlled by the main body ECU. The theft deterrent system will operate when an attempt is made to forcibly enter the vehicle or open the engine hood, when the vehicle is determined to be sloping*1, or when the battery terminals are removed and reconnected.
The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts*2, entry and start system parts*3, an intrusion sensor*4, a self-power siren *5, a yaw rate sensor*1, a print pattern type glass breakage sensor*6 and a security indicator light.
