WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DETAILS

  1. FUNCTION

    1. The wireless door lock control system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Customizable*1
      All Doors Lock Pressing the lock switch of the door control transmitter assembly locks the doors. Standard (Not Customizable)
      All Doors Unlock (2-step Unlock) Pressing the unlock switch of the door control transmitter assembly twice within 5 seconds unlocks all doors after it first unlocks the driver's door. *2
      All Doors Unlock (1-step Unlock) Pressing the unlock switch of the door control transmitter assembly once unlocks all doors. *3
      Answer Back When the doors are being locked or unlocked using the door control transmitter assembly, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds and the hazard warning lights blink once while locking and twice while unlocking. Also, the answer back function operates when the doors are locked by the automatic relock function. *2
      Panic Alarm

      Keeping the panic switch of the door control transmitter assembly pushed longer than about 0.8 seconds causes the following to activate as an alarm:

      • The horn is sounded.

      • The hazard warning lights, headlights, and taillights are flashed.

      • The interior lights are illuminated (If the dome switch is in the DOOR position).

      Automatic Relock If none of the doors are opened within 30 seconds*4 or 60 seconds*5 or after they are unlocked using the door control transmitter assembly, all the doors will be locked again automatically.

      Automatic Relock Time Adjustment The interval between unlocking and automatic relocking of the doors can be switched between 30 seconds, 60 seconds and 120 seconds. *6*4, *7*5
      Luggage Compartment Door Open Keeping the luggage compartment door open switch of the door control transmitter assembly pushed longer than about 0.4*8 or 0.6*9 seconds opens the luggage compartment door. *2

    1. Door Control Transmitter Assembly

      1. The door control transmitter assembly for wireless door lock control has a lock switch, unlock switch, luggage compartment door open switch and panic switch.

    2. Door Control Receiver

      1. The wireless door lock/unlock control system has a multi-channel function. When a switch of the door control transmitter assembly is pushed, one of 2 frequencies is used to send the signal to the door control receiver. The system switches back and forth between these 2 frequencies each time a switch of the door control transmitter is operated.*
