POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DETAILS

  1. FUNCTION

    1. The power door lock control system has the following customizable functions:

      Function Outline Customizable*1
      One-motion Open (Driver and Front Passenger) When the door is locked, this function enables the door to be unlocked by merely pulling the inside handle lever of the door. Standard (Not Customizable)
      Key-linked Lock This function, which is linked with the key cylinder, can lock all the doors when a lock operation is performed. *2 or *3
      2-step Unlock This function is provided to unlock the driver door when the door control transmitter assembly*6 or the mechanical key*7 is turned in the key cylinder the first time, and to unlock the remaining doors when it is turned the second time. Standard (Not Customizable)
      Manual Unlock Prohibition Function When the doors are all closed and are locked using a key linked operation, wireless key operation or entry lock operation*7, unlocking the vehicle using the door control switch is prohibited. *2
      Key Confinement Prevention When the door control transmitter assembly*6 is in the ignition or starter switch assembly or the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly*7 is present in the interior detection area, and a door lock operation is performed while the driver door is open, all the doors will be unlocked.       Shift-linked Automatic Door Lock

      When the conditions listed below are met consecutively, this function causes all the doors to be automatically locked.

      • The ignition switch is changed from off or ACC to ON.

      • All doors are closed.

      • The shift lever is moved from P to R, N, D or S.

      • Any one of the doors is in an unlocked state.

      Speed-sensitive Automatic Door Lock

      When the conditions listed below are met, this function causes all the doors to be automatically locked.

      • Vehicle speed is higher than approximately 20 km/h (12 mph).

      • All doors are closed.

      • Any one of the doors is in an unlocked state.

      Shift-linked Automatic Door Unlock When the ignition switch is ON, and the shift lever is moved to P, all the doors will be automatically unlocked. Standard (Not Customizable)
      Driver Door Opening-linked Automatic Door Unlock All doors are automatically unlocked when the driver door is opened within 10 seconds after the ignition switch is changed from ON to ACC or off. *3
