  1. OUTLINE

    1. Combination Meter Assembly

      1. An analog type combination meter assembly is provided as standard on models for U.S.A. and Canada.

      2. An Optitron type combination meter assembly is provided as standard on the destination package for South Korea.

      3. The combination meter assembly has a built-in meter ECU and buzzer.

      4. A wide type Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is provided for the combination meter assembly on non-grade models for U.S.A.. On the remaining models, 2 LCDs are provided.

      5. The Optitron type combination meter assembly has a multi-information display.

      6. The maintenance requirement reminder function is provided on models for U.S.A. to inform the driver when maintenance is necessary.

  2. MAIN FEATURES

    1. Combination Meter Assembly

      1. An illumination control which allows for anticipation of a pleasant drive is used. If the ignition switch is turned to ON, the illumination control operates as follows:

        1. When the ignition switch is turned to ON, the opening display appears on the multi-information display.*

        2. The following illuminations fade in: the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, fuel consumption meter needle indicator, 2 LCD displays and meter panel illumination.

        3. When the ignition switch is turned off, all the illuminations fade out. During this period, the multi-information display shows the Eco drive level for 3 seconds.*

    2. Fuel Consumption Gauge

      1. A needle indicator type average fuel consumption gauge is provided on the combination meter assembly. The needle indicator indicates the value in accordance with the average fuel consumption value displayed on the ODO/TRIP meter*1 or multi-information display*2.

      2. On XLE grade models, an instantaneous fuel consumption gauge is provided. This gauge is a segment type indicator and is arranged outside the average fuel consumption gauge. This arrangement enables the driver to check the average and instantaneous fuel consumption simultaneously, assisting eco-friendly driving.

    3. LCD

      1. On non-grade models for U.S.A., a wide type Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is provided. This display shows the following information:

        • The following information items are always displayed.

          • Shift Position Indicator

          • Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge (segment type display)

          • Ambient Temperature

        • When the rheostat switch is pressed, the engine coolant temperature gauge will change into an indicator for meter illumination adjustment mode. The meter illumination can be switched between 6 levels.

        • The following information items can be displayed. The item shown can be changed by pressing the ODO/TRIP switch.

          • Odometer

          • Trip Meter A

          • Trip Meter B

          • Ambient Temperature

          • Average Fuel Consumption

          • Current Fuel Consumption

        • Pressing and holding the ODO/TRIP switch while the odometer is displayed changes the odometer to an on/off mode that enables or disables the operation of Eco Driving Indicator Light.

      2. On models other than non-grade models for U.S.A., 2 LCDs are provided. Each display shows the following information.

    4. Multi-information Display

      1. The Optitron type combination meter assembly incorporates a multi-information display.

      2. The multi-information display shows the following information.

        • The item shown can be change by pushing the DISP switch in the steering pad switch assembly.

        • In cruise information mode, the following information can be displayed:

          • Cruising Range and Average Fuel Consumption

          • Average Vehicle Speed and Elapsed Time

          • Eco Drive Level

          • Settings

        • Blank Screen
        Clearance Sonar Display* The obstruction detection state of the clearance sonars is displayed.
        Warning The warning display will interrupt the multi-information display immediately when a warning occurs.
        Customization

        • The following display, performance or illumination of the combination meter assembly can be customized:

          • Language

          • Eco Driving Indicator Light and instantaneous fuel consumption gauge
