FUEL LID OPENER SYSTEM DETAILS


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The fuel lid opener system consists of the following parts:

      Component Function
      Fuel Lid Opener Switch Pressing the fuel lid opener switch located on the driver side instrument panel causes the fuel lid to unlatch.
      Fuel Lid with Motor Lock Assembly

      The fuel lid lock assembly consists of a built-in motor that opens the fuel lid via a linkage.

      If the fuel lid lock assembly malfunctions, the fuel lid can be opened manually by pulling on the emergency opener that is provided on the fuel lid lock assembly.
      Emergency Fuel Lid Opener Allows the user to manually unlatch the fuel lid with motor lock assembly.

      1. Pressing the fuel lid opener switch located on the instrument panel causes the fuel lid to unlatch.

      2. An emergency opener has been provided in case the system does not operate due to a discharged battery or other malfunction.
