  3. MAIN FEATURES

    1. The air conditioning system has the following features:

      High Performance
      • Using the following features of the compressor (continuously variable capacity compressor), high cooling performance and a quiet cabin have been achieved:

        • Magnetic Flux Sensor Type Air Conditioning Mass Flow Sensor

        • Oil Separator

        • Variable Suction Side Throttle

        • Solenoid Valve with Built-in Crank Chamber to Suction Passage (CS) Valve

      • Neural network control is used so passengers can finely control the air conditioning for maximum comfort.

      • The Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater system is used. This system contains a PTC heater that heats the air that has passed through the heater radiator unit sub-assembly to ensure proper heater performance.*

      • The blower control has 7 steps to allow precise control.

      Lightweight
      • An air conditioning harness assembly with a built-in IC is used in a lightweight wire harness design to allow a reduced number of wires.

      • The use of this connector means that pulse pattern type servo motors are used.

      Others

The following parts are used to ensure high cooling performance while realizing a compact and lightweight construction.

      • Semi-center Location Air Conditioning Unit

      • Revolutionary Super-slim Structure (RS) Evaporator

      • Straight Flow Aluminum (SFA)-II Heater Radiator Unit Sub-assembly

      • Multi-Flow (MF)-IV Sub-cool Condenser
