MEMORY SYSTEM


  1. POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH


    1. The position control ECU and switch is built into the front power seat switch.

    2. This ECU effects the main control of the memory system in order to memorize and recall the driver seat position. In addition, the position control ECU and switch instructs the outer mirror control ECU, multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU, to start memorizing or recalling their respective positions.

    3. The driver seat position, outer rear view mirror assembly position, and tilt and telescopic steering position are memorized by their respective ECUs.

    4. The ECUs exchange the information that is necessary for memory control via the CAN.
