HEATED AND VENTILATED SEAT SYSTEM


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. The heated and ventilated seat system has a heating function and ventilation function in addition to the blower units in the conventional seat ventilation system. This creates a very comfortable seat.


      1. The heating function and the ventilation function cannot be operated at the same time.

      2. For the ventilation function, only air in the cabin is used and neither hot nor cold air is blown out.

      3. An automatic control utilizing the temperatures at the air blow ports for the air conditioning has been used for the heated and ventilated seat system.

      4. Along with the addition of the automatic control, an AUTO position has been used for the front/rear heated and ventilated seat switch. The AUTO position can be selected by operating the ventilation switch or the heater switch in a cyclic manner.

      5. The auto control function can be available per seat.*

      6. A LIN communication compatible refreshing seat switch has been used.

      7. The heated and ventilated seat system can be customized through the navigation system. For details, refer to the Repair Manual.
