REAR VIEW MIRROR


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. A narrow frame has been adopted for the circumferential frame of the inner rear view mirror assembly.

    2. The functions of the rear view mirror are described in the table below.

      Mirror Function Outline
      Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly Automatic Glare-resistant EC (Electro Chromic) Mirror This function can automatically reduce headlight glare from an on-coming vehicle during nighttime driving.
      Outer Rear View Mirror Assembly Mirror Heater When the rear window defogger switch is turned ON, the mirror surface is heated for a certain period of time.
      Foot Light This function illuminates around the doors in conjunction with the illuminated entry system operation.
      Electrical Remote Control When the mirror control switch is operated, this function moves the mirror surface vertically or laterally to enable the driver to attain an optimal mirror angle.
      Manual Retractable This function retracts the outer rear view mirror assemblies when the retractable outer mirror switch is pressed.
      Automatic Retractable

      When all doors are locked from the outside of the vehicle while the engine switch is ON (IG), the outside rear view mirrors are retracted.

      When all doors are unlocked from the outside of the vehicle while the engine switch is OFF, the outside rear view mirrors are returned to their original position.

      Reverse-linked Mirror When the shift lever is shifted into the R position, the outer rear view mirrors on the driver and passenger sides tilt downward, thus facilitating confirmation of the rear side of the vehicle.
      Automatic Glare-resistant EC (Electro Chromic) Mirror This function can automatically reduce headlight glare from an on-coming vehicle during nighttime driving.
      Memory System The system stores up to 3 mirror positions.
