WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM


  1. SYSTEM OPERATION


    1. The windshield deicer system is turned ON or OFF when the following conditions are met.

      Operation Conditions Indicator Light
      OFF to ON

      The front wiper deicer switch is pressed to start deicing.

      The outside air temperature is 0°C or below.

      		 Illuminates
      ON to OFF

      When any of the following conditions is met:


      • The front wiper deicer switch is pressed to stop deicing.

      • The front wiper deicer has been operating for approximately 15 minutes.

      • The rear window defogger system is activated. For details about the rear defogger system,

      • The outside air temperature is 5°C or higher.
