DESCRIPTION
The theft deterrent system sounds an alarm when any of the following actions are detected:
Any door is unlocked not by using the key lock button, the entry and start system, or the mechanical key*1.
The engine is opened.
The battery terminals are removed. *2
The battery terminals are removed and reconnected.
The power source mode has been changed to ON (IG) by hot wiring and not by operating the engine switch.
The system consists of door lock control system parts, entry and start system parts, the security horn and the security indicator light.
The certification ECU controls this system.
