DESCRIPTION
The door lock control system consists of the main body ECU, door control switches, key-linked switch, door lock assemblies and courtesy switches, and is predominantly controlled by the main body ECU.
A door control battery is provided on specified models.
If the battery is damaged, the door control battery will supply power for door unlock operation to each door lock motor and the main body ECU.
The door control battery fully recharges in approximately 90 seconds of the engine switch being turned on (IG). When the engine switch is turned off, it discharges fully in approximately 40 minutes.
The door lock control system has the following functions:
| Function | Outline |
|---|---|
| Manual Lock and Unlock | This function can lock or unlock all doors by the door control switch operation. |
| Manual Unlock Prohibition | Performing a door lock operation using a key (electronic or mechanical key) or the outside door handle lock switches will prohibit unlock operations using the driver door control switch on the driver door. |
| Key-linked Lock and Unlock | This function, which is linked with the driver door key cylinder, can lock or unlock all the doors when a lock or unlock operation is effected using the mechanical key. |
| Key Confine Prevention | When the key is in the interior detection area with the driver's door open and if you perform the door lock operation, all the doors will be unlocked. |
