MULTI DISPLAY


  1. OUTLINE


    1. 12.3-inch type has been adopted as a multi-display which displays map screen, menu screen and so on.

    2. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are used to provide mercury-free backlighting for the multi-display. This reduces the burden on the environment and ensures brightness.

    3. The multi-display is provided at the same height as the combination meter assembly to minimize changes in the driver's line of sight and ensure visibility while driving.

    4. Due to the change in the multi-display location, the remote touch is used to ensure operability.

    5. A 2-axis mechanism is used in the remote touch. Motors in the remote operation board portion of the device provide feedback (feedback force) which is similar to a click. This feedback is transmitted to the users hand according to the operation of the cursor on the screen to facilitate selecting buttons or icons and ensure operability while driving.

    6. The map database of the navigation system is stored in the microSD card in the multi-media module receiver assembly. To update the map database, purchase a new microSD card with the latest map database and replace the old microSD card.

    7. A fuel consumption screen is provided in consideration of the environment.

    8. The navigation system sends navigation information to the combination meter assembly or combination meter mirror ECU*. The user can view a compass display and turn-by-turn directions to the destination on the multi-information display or head-up display*.

    9. A split display function is provided. Due to this function, the map screen and the audio screen or vehicle information screen can be displayed on the single screen simultaneously.

    10. The LEXUS ENFORM service is supported. This service makes it possible to operate specified applications on the navigation system by using Bluetooth to connect the navigation system to a cellular phone with the LEXUS ENFORM application installed.*

      1. Enables users to get next 5-day weather information of the present location, destination, or the searched area and displays it on the screen. To use this function, it is necessary to access the internet from a tethering-compatible cellular phone or mobile Wi-Fi router, which is connected to the multi-media module receiver assembly via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi communication.

    13. Fuel Price Information (Models for Europe)


      1. Enables users to get fuel price information of the present location, destination, or the searched area and displays it on the screen. To use this function, it is necessary to access the internet from a tethering-compatible cellular phone or mobile Wi-Fi router, which is connected to the multi-media module receiver assembly via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi communication.

    14. Wi-Fi Communication (Models with Wi-Fi Communication Function)


      1. A wireless LAN antenna is integrated into the multi-media module receiver assembly, enabling Wi-Fi communication to user's tethering-compatible cellular phone or mobile Wi-Fi router.

        Tech Tips

        Wi-Fi communication may be unavailable depending on the vehicle conditions, condition of the surroundings such as radio wave conditions around the multi-media module receiver assembly, the distance to the device or device conditions. In addition, during Wi-Fi communication, communication may be cut or become unstable due to the conditions described above.
