LIGHTING


  1. General


    1. The light turn-off system is used to prevent the driver from leaving the vehicle with the headlights, fog lights, clearance lights, taillights and license plate lights ON.

    2. This system turns all exterior lights OFF approximately 30 seconds after either of the following conditions is met:


      1. The engine switch is turned OFF, any door is opened and all the doors and back door are closed with all exterior lights ON.

      2. The engine switch is turned OFF, all the doors are closed and the back door is opened and closed with all exterior lights ON.

    3. This system turns all exterior lights OFF immediately when the lock button on the key is pushed with all the doors are locked.

    4. When the engine switch is turned OFF and the driver's door is opened with the exterior lights except headlights ON, this system turns them OFF.
