  1. OUTLINE


    1. Multi Display


      1. 12.3-inch type has been adopted as a multi-display which displays map screen, menu screen and so on.

      2. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are used to provide mercury-free backlighting for the multi-display. This reduces the burden on the environment and ensures brightness.

      3. The multi-display is provided at the same height as the combination meter assembly to minimize changes in the driver's line of sight and ensure visibility while driving.

    2. Audio System


      1. The 15CY model audio head unit is provided.

      1. The Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system is provided.

    4. Bluetooth Hands-free System


      1. The 15CY model Bluetooth hands-free system is provided.

    5. Entry and Start System


      1. The entry and start system is provided as standard equipment.

      2. The entry and start system mainly consists of the wireless door lock control function, engine immobilizer function, start function and entry function.

    6. Power Back Door System


      1. The power back door system is provided.

    7. Tail Gate Closer System


      1. The tail gate closer system is provided.

    8. LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System


      1. The LEXUS parking assist-sensor system is provided.

      2. The LEXUS parking assist-sensor system uses ultrasonic sensors to detect any obstacles at the corners or the rear of the vehicle.

      3. The LEXUS parking assist-sensor system then informs the driver of the approximate distance between the sensors and the obstacles as well as their positions by displaying them on the multi-information display in the combination meter and the multi display, and by sounding a clearance warning buzzer.

    9. Pre-crash Safety System


      1. Lexus Safety System+


        1. Preventive safety package "Lexus Safety System+" has been adopted to support the safety drive.

        2. System that are included in the "Lexus Safety System+" are as follows:


          • PCS (Pre-crash Safety)

          • Dynamic radar cruise control

          • LDA (Lane Departure Alert)

          • AHB (Automatic High Beam)

          • RSA (Road Sign Assist)

      2. Pre-crash Safety (PCS)


        1. Pre-crash safety contribute to lessens the damage sustained in a collision by operating in unison with warning device and brake systems.

        2. The pre-crash safety detects the vehicle and pedestrian* in front of the vehicle based on both data from a forward recognition camera (camera sensor) and millimeter wave radar sensor.

          *: Depending on the region in which the vehicle was sold, the pedestrian detection function may not be available

        3. If the pre-crash safety determines that the possibility of a collision is high, pre-crash warning and pre-crash brake assist control is performed, and if a collision is imminent, pre-crash brake control will be performed to help avoid and reduce the impact of the collision.

    10. Lane Departure Alert System


      1. The lane departure alert system is provided depending on models.

      2. The lane departure alert system uses a forward recognition camera to detect lane markers on the road surface, assists the driver's steering operation by using the warning buzzer, the steering vibrator and activates the lane departure warning when needed.

    11. Multi-terrain Monitor System


      1. The multi-terrain monitor system is provided.

      2. A panoramic view mode has been added to the multi-terrain monitor system. As a result, not only driving off-road, but parking on normal roads has become easier.

      3. An under vehicle terrain view and dual side view mode have been added to the multi-terrain monitor system. With the under vehicle terrain view, the condition of the vehicle underfloor and tire positions, which could not be confirmed before, can be confirmed on the screen.

      4. With the front view, underfloor and dual side view mode, a rotating screen function has been added that shows the front view screen according to the tilt of the vehicle. As a result, the driver can sense the tilt of the vehicle.

    12. Blind Spot Monitor System


      1. The blind spot monitor system is provided.

      2. The blind spot monitor system performs 2 functions using the same blind spot monitor sensors: blind spot monitor function and RCTA function.

      3. On models for Europe, the blind spot monitor system performs 2 functions using the same blind spot monitor sensors: blind spot monitor function and Rear Crossing Traffic Alert (RCTA) function*.

        *: Models with RCTA function

      4. For except models for Europe, the blind spot monitor system performs 2 functions using the same blind spot monitor sensors: blind spot monitor function and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) function*.

    13. Cruise Control System


      1. The cruise control system is provided.

      2. When the cruise control system is set to a desired vehicle speed, the ECM regulates the throttle valve position*1 or injection volume*2 is adjust automatically to maintain the vehicle speed without the driver having to depress the accelerator pedal.

        *1: Models with gasoline engine

        *2: Models with diesel engine

    14. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System


      1. The dynamic radar cruise control system is provided.

      2. The dynamic radar cruise control system has 3 cruise control modes: Constant speed control mode, vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode and vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode (with full-speed range following function).

    15. Heated and Ventilated Seat System


      1. The heated and ventilated seat system is provided.

      2. The heated and ventilated seat system has a heating function and ventilation function in addition to the blower units in the conventional seat ventilation system. This creates a very comfortable seat.

    16. Air Conditioning System


      1. The air conditioning system is provided.

      2. Lexus climate concierge has been adopted for the air conditioning system.

    17. Sliding Roof System


      1. The sliding roof system is provided.

    18. Wireless Charging System


      1. A wireless charging system is provided instrument panel according to the vehicle specification.

      2. The wireless charging system allows Qi-compatible* devices, such as cellular telephones and smartphones, to be charged without the use of a charging cable by placing them on the charging area of the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly.

        *: The Qi standard is an international wireless charging standard set by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). The standard targets low power mobile devices of 5 W or less, such as cellular telephones and smartphones.

    19. Power Outlet System


      1. A power outlet (DC12 V) has been provided on the front instrument panel and the console rear end panel.

      2. A power outlet (AC220V) has been provided in the deck side trim (Except models for Taiwan).

      3. A power outlet (DC12V) has been provided in the deck side trim (Models for Taiwan).

    20. Power Seat System


      1. The power seat system is standard equipment on all models.

    21. Memory System


      1. The memory system is standard equipment on all models.

    22. SRS Airbag System


      1. The driver and front passenger dual-stage SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags supplement the seat belts to help to reduce the shocks to the heads and chests of the driver and front passenger in the event of a frontal collision.

      2. The SRS knee airbags help restrain the lower parts of the bodies of the driver and front passenger, thus enhancing the excellent passenger protection provided by the seat belts and front airbags.

      3. The SRS side airbags for the driver and the front passenger and the SRS rear side airbags for the rear No. 1 seat outer passengers help to reduce shocks to the chests of the driver, front passenger, and rear No. 1 seat outer passengers in the event of a side collision.

      4. The SRS curtain shield airbags help to reduce shocks to the heads of the driver, front passenger, rear No. 1 seat and rear No. 2 seat outer passengers in the event of a side collision.

      5. An Roll Sensing Curtain shield Airbags (RSCA) function is used in order to deploy the curtain shield airbags for the driver, front passenger, rear No. 1 seat and rear No. 2 seat outer passengers and the seat belt pretensioners for the driver, front passenger, and rear No. 1 seat outer passengers, in the event that the vehicle rolls over. The RSCA OFF switch is provided on the driver side of the instrument panel to allow the driver to disable this function.

    23. Glass


      1. The windshield and door glasses are provided as follows:

      2. Depending on destination models, an Heated Windshield Defroster (HWD) is available for the windshield glass to enhance frost melting performance. Heating wires are routed in the glass and defrost external glass surface by conducting electricity.

      3. Laminated glass is adopted for the front doors with an intermediate film pasted between two panes of glass to reduce noise from the outside.

      4. Depending on destination models, gray privacy glass is used for the following sections.


        • Rear door glass
