METER / GAUGE SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. An Optitron display type combination meter assembly is used. The Optitron display type combination meter assembly achieves excellent visibility through the use of smoked acrylic in the protective panel, and bright Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that have high contrast to illuminate the indicator and the dial.

    2. A meter ECU and a buzzer are enclosed in the combination meter assembly. This ECU maintains communication with other ECUs through the Controller Area Network (CAN).

    3. A front seat belt warning function is provided. If the front seat belt is not buckled, this system blinks the seat belt warning light and sounds the buzzer as a reminder.

    4. A rear passengers seat belt reminder function is provided. When the rear seat belt is not buckled, this function shows the rear passengers seat belt reminder display and sounds a buzzer.

    5. A gear shift indicator is used on the models with manual transaxle.

    6. An Eco Driving Indicator is used on the models with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Eco Driving Indicator informs the driver of whether the accelerator pedal is being operated in an environmentally friendly manner by illuminating the Eco Driving Indicator Light and Eco Driving Indicator Zone Display on the multi-information display.

    7. The multi-information display has been positioned on the combination meter assembly.

    8. The light control rheostat switch has been provided on instrument panel.
