    6. Memory System (mirror surface position memory function) For details, Click here

      1. This function operates when any of the following conditions are met:

        • When the memory switch is operated with the engine switch on (IG), shift lever in P and the mirror position stored in the memory system.

        • When the memory switch is operated within approximately 60 seconds after closing the driver side door, with the engine switch off, shift lever in P and the mirror position stored in the memory system.

        • When the memory switch is operated within approximately 180 seconds after opening the driver side door with the engine switch off, shift lever in P and the mirror position stored in the memory system.

        • When a door is unlocked using the entry function, wireless door unlock function, key linked operation or door control switch operation with the engine switch off, driver side door closed and the mirror position stored in the memory system.

  2. FUNCTION

    1. The outside rear view mirrors have the following functions:

      Function Outline
Electric Remote Mirror Remote Control Function The adjustment axis of the mirror surface of the electric remote mirrors can be controlled by using the outer mirror switch assembly.
Manual Retractable Function The mirror fold switch can retract the outside rear view mirrors.
Automatic Retract Function This function automatically synchronizes storing and returning the outside rear view mirrors with locking and unlocking the doors using the entry lock/unlock function and wireless door lock/unlock function.
Reverse-linked Function This function tilts the mirror surface downward to improve visibility when driving in reverse.
      Mirror Heater Function
      • The mirror heaters use a heater element in both outside rear view mirrors to help defog them.

      • The mirror heaters are controlled by the air conditioning amplifier.

Foot Light Function This function illuminates the area around the doors in conjunction with the illuminated entry system operation.
Automatic Glare-Resistant EC Dimming Function During nighttime driving, if a large difference in intensity exists between the surrounding light and the light reflected off the inside rear view mirror from the headlights behind, an automatic glare-resistant Electrochromic (EC) mirror automatically reduces the reflection rate of the inside or outside rear view mirrors and thus dampens the glare from the mirror.
Memory System The memory system can store the driver seat, front passenger seat, outside rear view mirror positions and tilt & telescopic steering positions. Up to 3 memory positions can be stored in the system memory and recalled.
