  1. OPERATING CONDITION


    1. Front Wiper Deicer System


      1. The front wiper deicer system is activated when the engine switch is on (IG), and the front wiper deicer switch is pushed. The air conditioning amplifier keeps the front wiper deicer on for approximately 15 minutes.

    2. Rear Defogger System


      1. When the engine switch is on (IG), and the rear defogger and mirror heater switch is pushed, this system is activated to keep the defogger heater and mirror heaters on for approximately 15 minutes. However, the operating time of the rear defogger may be extended up to approximately 45 minutes when the following requirements are met. However, the operating time of the mirror heaters will not be extended even though the following conditions are met.

        - Ambient temperature: -3°C (27°F) or less

        - Vehicle speed: 45 km/h (28 mph) or more
