LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each body electrical system shown below, and is also used for communication between switches and ECUs.

    2. The ECUs between various CAN and LIN networks serve as gateways for signals transmitted to or from LIN-networks.

    3. LIN communication is used for the following systems.


      • Entry and start system

      • Air conditioning system

      • Wiper system

      • Lighting system

      • Power window system and sliding roof system
