OUTLINE
The 2GR-FE engine is a 3.5 liter, 24 valve DOHC V6 engine. This engine uses a dual Variable Valve Timing intelligent (VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS), Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS) and Electronic Throttle Control System intelligent (ETCS-i). These control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy, and clean emissions.
MAJOR DIFFERENCE
The new models have been modified from the previous models as shown below:
The front engine mount has been changed to a vertical type mount, reducing noise and vibration.
