  1. FUNCTION


    1. The outer rear view mirrors have the following functions:

      Function Outline
      Electric Remote Mirrors Remote Control Function The adjustment axis of the mirror surface of the electric remote mirrors can be controlled by using the outer mirror switch assembly.
      Retract Function This function retracts and returns the outer rear view mirrors when the retraction/restoration switch is operated.
      Mirror Heater Function

      • The mirror heaters use a heater element in both outer rear view mirrors to help defog them.

      • The mirror heaters are controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.

  2. OPERATION


    1. Mirror Heater System


      1. The mirror heater is activated when the power switch is on (IG), and the rear window defogger switch is pushed.

      2. The air conditioning amplifier assembly activates the mirror heater for approximately 15 minutes.
