OUTLINE
The engine immobiliser system compares the ID code that is registered in the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)*1 or ID code box (immobiliser code ECU)*2 with the ID code of the transponder chip that is embedded in the key. The system unsets if these ID codes match. Thus, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)*1 or ID code box (immobiliser code ECU)*2, and the power management control ECU communicate with each other enabling the hybrid control system to start.
