CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM DETAILS


  1. DIAGNOSIS


    1. If a malfunction occurs in the CAN communication bus, ECUs that are connected to the CAN communication bus store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) in memory.

    2. The 5-digit DTCs can be read by connecting the Global Tech Stream(GTS) to the DLC3.

    3. The DLC3 is equipped with a CAN-H and a CAN-L terminal on the V1 bus to allow CAN diagnosis. It is possible to determine if there is an open or short in the main wires of the V1 bus by measuring the resistance value between these terminals.
