OUTLINE
A compact and lightweight full-time 2-speed VF4B transfer is used on the 4WD models.
This transfer contains a center differential lock mechanism, which locks the center differential when the driver shifts the transfer shift lever to the LLor HLmode.
A manual operation type 4WD system is used. The optimal drive mode is selected from 3 drive modes (H, HLand LL) in accordance with road surface conditions by operating the transfer shift lever, thus enabling a drive that makes optimal use of drive torque performance.
