CLUTCH SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. A dry type single plate clutch, operated by hydraulic pressure, is used, which is matched to the performance of each engine.

    2. A clutch disc assembly that uses an organic solvent-free material is used to help protect the environment. In addition, the components of the clutch damper have been optimized to achieve wear resistance and reduce noise and vibration.

    3. A turnover mechanism is used to reduce clutch pedal effort on the models with the 1GR-FE engine.

    4. A clutch accumulator assembly is used to reduce the noise and vibrations that are transmitted to the clutch pedal on the models with 1GR-FE engine.
