      1. The impact absorbing structure minimizes cabin deformation by effectively helping to absorb the impact energy in the event of a front or side collision. This provides high performance occupant protection.

    3. Rust-resistant Body


      1. Rust-resistance performance is enhanced by extensive use of anti-corrosion steel sheet, as well as by an anti-corrosion treatment that includes the application of anti-rust wax, sealer and anti-chipping paint to easily corroded parts such as the hood and rocker panel.

    4. Low Vibration and Low Noise Body


      1. Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressant materials reduces engine, wind and road noise.

    5. Aerodynamics


      1. Various types of airflow routing parts that control airflow are provided in order to ensure excellent aerodynamic performance.

      1. The side lines continuing forward give an impression of wrapping from hood sub-assembly to front bumper cover to express a sense of integration.

      2. The slim upper grille (radiator grille) gives a clean image, distinct from that of gasoline vehicles.

      3. Inheriting a trapezoidal lower grille that expresses the design concept, "under priority", the Yaris HV realizes a low center of gravity and gives the impression of road-holding stability.

      4. With the LED clearance lights, the headlight unit creates the cutting edge appearance.

      1. The beltline near the bottom of the door glass has been made steep, producing the dynamic appearance.

      2. The character line has been created by connecting continuous curves to express elegance.

    3. Exterior Design (Rear View)


      1. Similar to the front view, by combining the protruding rear fenders and the bodyline that accentuates the rear fender protrusion, a lower center of gravity and improved agility have been produced.

      2. The rear bumper corners utilize a shape that smooths wind flow and contribute to reduced wind drag.

      3. On HV entry package models, the LED clearance light is used in the rear combination light (rear combination light lens and body), producing cutting edge rear view appearance.
