OUTLINE
An extension module (navigation ECU) is used.
Since an extension module (navigation ECU) is mounted under the radio and display receiver assembly, a navigation system that supports a Flash Solid State Drive (SSD) type map data media can be used.
The navigation ECU handles information transmitted from various components such as a Global Positioning System (GPS) to display maps and provide a pressure sensitive touch panel on a 6.1-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) of the radio and display receiver assembly.
A vehicle information screen that is displayed in the 6.1-inch LCD is provided in consideration of the environment.
