HYBRID TRANSAXLE SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The P510 hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly is used.

    2. Containing a Motor Generator No. 2 (MG2) for driving the vehicle and a Motor Generator No. 1 (MG1) for generating electrical power, this transaxle uses a continuously variable transmission mechanism with a compound gear unit that achieves smooth and quiet operation.

    3. A shift lock system is used.

    4. A shift lock release button, which manually overrides the shift lock mechanism, is provided.
