LUBRICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The lubrication circuit is fully pressurized and oil passes through an oil filter sub-assembly.

    2. A trochoid gear type oil pump assembly, which is driven directly by the crankshaft, is provided in the front of the cylinder block sub-assembly.

    3. The oil filter sub-assembly is installed diagonally downward from the side of the cylinder block sub-assembly to realize excellent serviceability.

    4. The camshaft (intake) is provided with a camshaft timing gear assembly, and cylinder head sub-assembly is provided with a camshaft timing oil control valve assembly. The VVT-i system is operated by the engine oil.
