    1. Rear Differential

      1. A high-efficient tapered roller bearing is used for the rear differential drive pinion bearing to reduce friction loss, thus improving fuel consumption.

    2. Pre-torque Mechanism

      1. The pre-torque mechanism consists of a construction in which a conical spring is provided between the side gear and the side gear washer, and a preload is applied between the side gear washer and the side gear. Because of this, when the load and speed differential are low, the balance limit between the left and right wheels can be achieved by friction produced by the sliding parts within the range of the conical spring force.

    3. Differential Support

      1. A dual dampening construction, in which the differential is mounted on the suspension member via rubber mounts, is used.

      2. The rear differential is supported on the suspension member at 4 points: 2 at the front and 2 at the rear.

      3. A liquid-filled differential mount is used as the rear right mount to reduce vibration and noise.
