  1. OUTLINE


    1. Combination Meter Assembly


      1. An Optitron type combination meter assembly or Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT LCD) type combination meter assembly is provided depending on the model.

      2. A multi-information display on which various kinds of information is displayed integrated into the combination meter assembly.

      3. The combination meter assembly has a built-in meter ECU and buzzer.

    2. Headup Display (Combination Meter Mirror ECU)


      1. A headup display has been adopted to enable the driver to see driving information more easily within their field of view.

      2. The combination meter mirror ECU and the structure of the windshield glass enables the headup display to project an image as if it is displayed outside of the windshield glass.

  2. MAIN FEATURES


    1. Combination Meter Assembly (Except F SPORT)


      1. Opening/Ending Ceremony


        • An opening/ending ceremony which allows for anticipation of a pleasant drive is used. The ceremony operates as follows:


          1. When the power switch is turned on (IG), the needles of the speedometer, hybrid system indicator, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge illuminate.

          2. Then, the gauges and panels of the speedometer, hybrid system indicator, engine coolant temperature gauge, fuel gauge and the multi-information display illuminate.

          3. When the engine switch is turned off, the panels of the speedometer, hybrid system indicator, engine coolant temperature gauge, fuel gauge and the multi-information display fade out.

          4. Then, the needles of the speedometer, hybrid system indicator, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge fade out.

      2. Driving Mode


        • When SPORT mode is selected, the hybrid system indicator replaces the tachometer.

      3. Multi-information Display


        • The multi-information display is located at the center of the combination meter assembly.

        • The multi-information display shows the following information.

          Item Outline
          Shift Position Indicator The current shift position is displayed.
          Outside Temperature
          • The outside temperature is displayed.

          • When the outside temperature drops below 3°C (37°F), an ice warning light illuminates to warn the driver to drive with caution due to possibly icy road conditions. After the ice warning light flashes 10 times, the light stays on. When the temperature reaches 5°C (41°F), the light goes off.

          Drive Mode
          • The currently selected drive mode is displayed:


            • ECO Mode

            • SPORT Mode

            • SNOW Mode


          • The panel color changes in accordance with driving mode:


            • ECO Mode: Blue

            • SPORT Mode: Red

          Indicator

          When the display conditions are met, the following indicators illuminate.


          • Cruise Control Indicator

          • Cruise Control Indicator (Vehicle-to-Vehicle Distance Control Mode)*1

          • Cruise SET Indicator

          • Lane Departure Alert Indicator*2 or Lane Keeping Assist Indicator*3

          • EV Mode Indicator Light

          Information
          • The following information can be displayed on the multi-information display by switching between tabs.


            • Drive Information

            • Navigation Information*4

            • Audio Information

            • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System*1/Lane Departure Alert System*2 or Lane Keeping Assist System*3 Information

            • Message

            • Settings


          • The tab can be switched using the RIGHT/LEFT switch of the steering pad switch assembly.

          Vehicle Power Source State
          • The vehicle power source state is displayed.

          • The smart indicator light is displayed on the multi-information display.

          ODO/TRIP Meter
          • The odometer, trip meter A or trip meter B are displayed.

          • The item shown can be switched by pressing the ODO/TRIP switch.

          Light Control Rheostat Meter panel luminance can be changed by using the rheostat switch.

        • The drive information shows the following information.

            • Elapsed Time After Hybrid System Start-up

          • In addition to the above functions, the following items can be displayed.


            • Energy Monitor

            • Tire Pressure Indicator

          • The item shown can be changed using the UP/DOWN switch of the steering pad switch assembly.

        • When navigation information is being displayed, current navigation information (turn-by-turn, straight guidance or direction meter) can be displayed.*


          • *: Models with navigation system

        • When audio information is being displayed, the audio system can be operated using the multi-information display.

    2. Combination Meter Assembly (F SPORT)


      1. Opening/Ending Ceremony


        • When the power switch is turned on (IG), the needles and panels of the engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge illuminate.

        • Then, the multi-information display and the needle and panels inside the center ring monitor illuminate and the system check starts. After the system check is complete, the meter starts displaying each information.

        • When the power switch is turned off, the multi-information display, the needles and panels of the engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge turn off.

        • After that, the hybrid system indicator inside the center ring monitor turn off, and the odometer turns off.

      2. Driving Mode


        • When SPORT mode is selected, the hybrid system indicator replaces the tachometer.

      3. Rev Indicator


        • When the engine speed exceeds a set level, the rev indicator (yellow ring) is illuminated in the tachometer.

          Tech Tips

          The set level can be changed using the setting function.

        • If the engine speed exceeds 6000 rpm, the rev indicator (red ring) is illuminated in the tachometer.

      4. Tachometer Peak Hold Display


        • The tachometer peak hold display, which displays the afterimage of the tachometer needle at the maximum engine speed, is provided.

        • If the engine speed is changed due to shift change operation, the afterimage of the maximum engine speed is displayed for 0.5 seconds.

        • If the engine speed exceeds the predetermined limit, the rev indicator (red ring) is illuminated in the tachometer.

      5. Center Ring Monitor


        • The center ring monitor shows the following information:

          Item Outline
          Speedometer Displays the current vehicle speed.
          Shift Position Indicator Displays the current shift position.
          Hybrid System Indicator / Tachometer
          • The Hybrid System Indicator displays the total of the HV battery and engine output as the hybrid system output.

          • The tachometer displays the engine speed.

          • When SPORT mode is selected, the tachometer replaces the hybrid system indicator.

          Drive Mode

          Displays the current driving mode:


          • ECO Mode

          • SPORT

          • CUSTOMIZE Mode

          ODO / Trip Meter
          • Displays the odometer, trip meter A or trip meter B.

          • Displayed item can be switched by pressing the ODO/TRIP switch.

      6. Multi-information Display


        • The multi-information display is located at the left of the combination meter assembly.

          Item Outline
          Outside Temperature
          • The outside temperature is displayed.

          • When the outside temperature drops below 3°C (37°F), an ice warning light illuminates to warn the driver to drive with caution due to possibly icy road conditions.     3. Hybrid System Indicator


      1. The Hybrid System Indicator displays the total of the HV battery and engine output as the hybrid system output.

      2. The scale for the hybrid system Indicator is divided into 3 areas (Charge, Eco, Power). The role of each area is as follows.

        Information Displayed in Hybrid System Indicator
        Area Function
        Charge The Charge area indicates when energy is being regenerated.
        Eco
        • The Eco area indicates when the vehicle is being driven in an Eco-friendly manner.

        • The Hybrid Eco area indicates that the vehicle is driven in a manner that promotes frequent motor only operation. (Based on various conditions, the power management control ECU controls if the engine should be stopped to enhance fuel efficiency.)

        Power The Power area indicates that the Eco-friendly driving range is being exceeded (during full power driving, etc.).
