    1. Interior Concept


      1. A feeling of openness has been achieved in the cabin by making the instrument panel center portion more compact. A safe-feeling has been achieved by providing proper support from the sides by the door trim and the console. As a result, the integration of these feelings produces a driving space appropriate for premium grand touring.

      2. Returning to the original concept of premium grand touring to make traveling over long distances and long periods of time more pleasant, widening of an integrated living space has been achieved by revising the external shape and giving the curtain shield airbag a more compact construction.

      3. For the interior design, the shapes and visibility of lines and surfaces have been made as distinct as possible to express the materials used. Also, a high level of harmony between the integration expressed by the design and the material used for each function expresses a premium-feel LEXUS originality with an attractive interior space.

      4. The shapes of the instrument panel, seats, roof headlining, door trim and pillar garnish have each been carefully considered so as to achieve an interior space which can flexibly accommodate a wide range of different user body heights and shapes.

    2. Door Trim

    4. Door Ambient Illumination

    5. Rear Sunshade System


      1. An electrically-operated rear sunshade system is provided as optional equipment. This system blocks direct sunlight from entering through the back window in order to ensure the comfort of the rear seat passengers.

    6. Rear Door Sunshade System


      1. A manual type rear door sunshade system is provided.

      2. The door shade rises while moving rearward to fit the rear window. By reducing the gap between the shade and the rear window and ensuring a high level of light-blocking performance, comfort in the rear seats has been increased.

      3. A division shade, which is pulled out of the division bar directly sideways, is provided as a supplement to cover the part of the rear window that cannot be covered by the door shade alone.

    7. Luggage Compartment


      1. By optimizing the component shapes in the luggage compartment room, a highly usable storage space has been achieved.

    8. Instrument Panel

    9. Steering Wheel


      1. The steering wheel has been given the appeal of the LEXUS brand image by enlarging the mark.

    10. Shift Knob

    13. Center Cluster


      1. While also being compact, the design of the center cluster achieves high operability and a strong presence as the center of the interior.

    21. Vehicle Proximity Notification System


      1. When the vehicle is being driven using the motor only (the engine is not running), the vehicle proximity notification system outputs a warning sound from the vehicle approaching speaker assembly to inform pedestrians, cyclists etc., of the approach of the vehicle.

    22. Lexus Parking Assist-sensor System


      1. The Lexus parking assist-sensor system uses ultrasonic sensors and is equipped with a beeping alarm. The system can detect obstacles at the rear of the vehicle, and provide information regarding the distance to the driver.

    23. Parking Assist Monitor System


      1. To assist the driver in parking the vehicle by monitoring the area behind it, the parking assist monitor system has a rear television camera assembly mounted on the luggage compartment door.

      2. A view of the area behind the vehicle will be displayed on the multi-display.

    31. Entry and Start System


      1. This system mainly consists of a wireless door lock control function, engine immobiliser function, start function and entry function.

      2. The start function allows the power source mode to be switched between off, on (ACC) and on (IG). The power source can be switched by pushing the power switch while the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is being carried by the driver. In addition, when the key is carried by the driver, the driver can start the hybrid system by pushing the power switch with the brake pedal depressed.

    32. Combination Meter Assembly


      1. Except F SPORT


        • A 4-dial meter layout with a three-dimensional structure is used. The speedometer and tachometer are positioned on the sides of the display and are given a three-dimensional structure in order to help reduce the amount of space used by internal equipment and to allow for a larger meter diameter and greater movement of the needle between graduations.

        • Three-dimensional graduations are used. Main graduations are given a protruding shape, and the other graduations (on the dish-shaped dial) are set lower to further emphasize a sense of three-dimensionality. A continuously illuminated type meter is used so that the three-dimensional protruding graduations shine powerfully, providing the graduations with superior visibility.

        • A needle with full-length illumination is used, providing superior visibility. The needle has a sense of length to it, making the diameter of the meter appear larger and emphasizing the liveliness of the needle's movements in order to produce a sporty impression.

        • In order to further emphasize the speedometer and hybrid system indicator (tachometer), silver painted meter rings with a three-dimensional design are used. As a result, the overall three-dimensionality of the meter is emphasized, expressing a sense of luxury and depth.

        • The graduation for 100 km/h is positioned in the middle at the highest point on the speedometer, and graduations beyond that point proceed at asymmetrical and nonlinear intervals. As a result, this solves the problem of conventional linear graduations being too close together and difficult to use in the ordinary low-speed range (100 km/h or less), and produces graduations that offer superior usability in the ordinary range while still displaying the high-speed range with a sense of luxury.

        • At the tachometer mode, the graduation for 4000 rpm is positioned in the middle at the highest point on the tachometer, and graduations beyond that point proceed at asymmetrical and nonlinear intervals. As a result, this produces a sense that the engine is revving up in the low-speed range and draws out the feeling of acceleration in the high speed range in consideration of creating a more enjoyable driving experience.

        • A 4.2-inch TFT liquid crystal display is used on the center of the meter. Multimedia-linked functions are provided to offer enriched functionality. A clock function is provided in the TFT display.

      2. F SPORT


        • A large 8-inch color TFT liquid crystal display is used. Multimedia-linked functions are provided to offer enriched functionality. A clock function is provided in the TFT display.

        • The display on the large diameter meter positioned at the center automatically changes according to the selected drive mode. Furthermore, factors such as meter display position, font and indicator size are optimized so that necessary information can be instantaneously understood under every possible condition.

        • The graduation for 5000 rpm is positioned in the middle at the highest point on the tachometer, and graduations beyond that point proceed at asymmetrical and nonlinear intervals. As a result, this produces a sense that the engine is revving up in the low-speed range and draws out the feeling of acceleration in the high-speed range in consideration of creating a more enjoyable driving experience.

    33. Headup Display


      1. A headup display is provided.

      2. Various types of information that are necessary when driving are shown on the windshield glass. As a result, the driver can confirm information with less eye movement than when looking at the combination meter.

    34. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Airbag


      1. The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) driver and front passenger airbags are used as supplements to the seat belts to help reduce the shocks to the head and chest of the driver or front passenger in the event of a frontal collision.

      2. The SRS knee airbag is used as a supplement to the seat belt to help reduce the shock to the knees of the driver and front passenger in the event of a frontal collision.

      3. The SRS side airbags are used during a frontal, side or rear side collision to help reduce the impact to the chests of the driver, front passenger and rear passenger.

    35. Lexus Safety System+
