MIRROR SYSTEM

  1. FUNCTION

    1. The outer rear view mirrors have the following functions:

      Function Outline
Mirror Heater When the rear defogger and mirror heater switch are turned on, the mirror surface is heated for a certain period of time.
Foot Light This function illuminates around the doors in conjunction with the illuminated entry system operation.
Electrical Remote Control When the mirror surface switch is operated, this function moves the mirror surface vertically or laterally to enable the driver to attain an optimal mirror angle.
Manual Retractable This function retracts the outside rear view mirrors when the retractable switch is pressed.
      Automatic Retractable
      • When all doors are locked from the outside of the vehicle while the power switch is on (IG), the outside rear view mirrors are retracted.

      • When all doors are unlocked from the outside of the vehicle while the power switch is off, the outside rear view mirrors are returned to their original position.

      Reverse-linked Mirror
      • This function tilts the mirror surface downward to improve visibility when reversing.

      • When the outer mirror switch assembly is operated after the mirror surface is tilted downward by the above operation, the desired position of the mirror surface while the reverse-linked function is in operation can be memorized. When the reverse-linked function is operated next time, the mirror surface will be moved to the memorized position.

Automatic Glare-resistant Electro Chromic (EC Mirror) This function can automatically reduce headlight glare from an oncoming vehicle during nighttime driving.
Memory System This system stores up to 3 mirror positions.
